A Russian military whistleblower has claimed that Russia has used submarines to seed nuclear bombs around the Unites States’ coast capable of causing a tsunami and wiping out the entire East Coast of America in the event of World War 3.The former spokesman for Moscow’s Defence Ministry, Colonel Viktor Baranetz, warned that President Putin has planted the “mole missiles” to give Russia an advantage over Donald Trump to make sure he doesn’t “go too far” with Syria and North Korea. If the claims are true, major US cities such as New York or Miami could be destroyed by a massive nuke-tsunami should the devices be detonated.

According to The Sun, Baranetz also claims the missiles are capable of “digging themselves in and ‘sleeping’ until given the command to detonate”. Speaking with newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, he said:

“The Americans are deploying their tanks, airplanes and special forces battalions along the Russian border.”

“And we are quietly ‘seeding’ the U.S. shoreline with nuclear ‘mole’ missiles.”

The former colonel said that while Russia is unable to compete with America’s colossal defense budget, it is using unconventional tactics in order to compete in a major conflict with Washington. He said: “The U.S. is the permanent ‘world champion’ in the size of its military budget – almost $600 billion (£500 million), which is 10 times more than Russia’s.”Tensions between Russia and the US are at their worst since the Cold War.

Despite praising Putin during his election campaign, President Donald Trump is now at odds with the Kremlin strongman after the US military destroyed an airbase belonging to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.Assad is a key ally of Russia and Putin condemned the act of aggression from the Trump administration.
